HR Manager (Interim – 3–6 Months, Immediate Start)
We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a fast-paced manufacturing business on an immediate interim basis. This role will initially be for 3–6 months, with the strong potential to transition into a permanent position.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable operating in a manufacturing or operational environment, supporting both leadership and shop-floor employees.
Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day HR support across the business, advising managers on employee relations matters including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management
*
Support and coach line managers to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures
*
Lead on recruitment activity, onboarding, and workforce planning
*
Manage HR processes including contracts, policies, compliance, and HR documentation
*
Support change initiatives, including organisational change and employee engagement
*
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
*
Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership and operational teams
About You
*
Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, or industrial environment
*
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations
*
Confident, pragmatic, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, hands-on setting
*
CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience
*
Available to start immediately or at short notice
