Our Client is a well established employer with an impressive brand portfolio and multiple sites. This is a new, permanent HR Officer/Generalist job, based in Belfast and supporting a number of busy sites. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the successful HR Officer will enjoy the fast pace and variety in dealing with a wide range of HR issues including employee relations, absence management, training and HR projects on engagement and wellbeing.
The Role:
* Reporting to the HR Business Partner
* Responsible for HR Administration around resourcing, induction process, probation, off boarding, retirement, HR KPIs, resolving payroll queries etc
* Support and assist managers in employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary meetings and hearings – attending meetings, taking minutes and drafting letters
* Support and implement engagement communications and culture development initiatives
* Provide HR support for HR projects
* Provide advice on policies
* Coordinate, plan and deliver various training interventions
* Support managers with performance management, absence management and engagement
* Maintain excellent relationships with managers and colleagues
The Person:
* CIPD membership or equivalent
* 3rd Level qualification in HR, Business or equivalent
* Proven HR Officer/HR Generalist experience, minimum of 2 years in a similar HR role with experience in employee relations and HR operations
* Experience working in a busy, fast paced, production environment would be desirable, but not essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Good conflict resolution experience
* Highly developed organisation skills
* Full driving license, essential
