Hays are working with a reputable organisation in Shrewsbury who are urgently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the HR function with administrative tasks, data management, and employee lifecycle coordination. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and bring strong organisational skills, confidentiality, and a collaborative approach.
Your new role
1. Provide administrative support across all areas of HR
2. Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
3. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
4. Support recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling and candidatemunication
5. Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and reports
6. Respond to employee queries and escalate where appropriate
7. Ensurepliance with GDPR and internal policies
8. Liaise with payroll and other departments as needed
What you'll need to succeed
9. Previous experience in an HR administrative role
10. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
11. Excellentmunication and interpersonal abilities
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
13. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
