The building contractor takes of projects of varied nature, Healthcare, education, Listed Buildings, local authority, commercial, private residential, sports and leisure, embassy and religious buildings.
The building contractor has always been known to have an excellent reputation, focusing on the delivery of construction projects ranging from £2m - £10m, including refurbishment, new build and Cut and Carve.
The Candidate
The Candidate we are looking for is someone who can prove longevity experience working as a Site Manager across varied sectors, on projects up £10m value. Ideally they are looking for someone with experience with New Build in the Industrial sector.
The Project
The contractor operating in Sawyers commons, are demolishing existing commercial units in preparation of New build Car Showroom Dealership. They are temporarily needing someone to oversee the Demolition phase of the Scheme with potential to be involved in the Construction phase of the New build.
The candidate must require - SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid
• Managing day to day activities on site of the site team and sub-contractors
• Sub-contract and material procurement
• Construction plan
• Health & Safety
• Progress reports and site meetings
• Programming - short term (1 week / 2 week look-ahead)
• Quality control
• Liaison with the design team, M&E consultants, project architect, structural engineer and building control
