HMP Glasgow is set to revolutionize custodial facilities, providing a safe, secure, and energy-efficient environment for 2000 inmates and staff. This £750M flagship project will replace the ageing Barlinnie prison, focusing on rehabilitation and utilizing cutting-edge Modern Methods of Construction. Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering this transformative project. Your daily tasks will include:
* Managing sub-contractors and site logistics to ensure safe, high-quality construction work.
* Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements to uphold Kier's health and safety standards.
* Coordinating site activities and creatively resolving emerging challenges.
* Maintaining quality standards throughout all construction phases.
* Creating and managing accurate site documentation and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You have experience in a management role within a large construction environment.
* You possess excellent communication skills and thrive in collaborative settings.
* You are passionate about maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
* You hold relevant construction qualifications (HND/Degree/SVQ) or have technical trade experience.
* You have SMSTS certification, a CSCS card, First Aid certification, and a UK driving licence.
Working Conditions
Location: HMP Glasgow, Glasgow
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
