The role
Part-time HR Manager - Newly created permanent opportunity MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a growing manufacturing business as they seek to appoint a Part-Time HR Manager to lead the people function on-site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and senior leadership, providing both strategic and hands-on HR support within a busy manufacturing environment. The role: As the standalone HR lead, you will play a key role in supporting the business through its next phase of growth, ensuring HR best practice, strong employee engagement, and a positive workplace culture. The main responsibilities: Leading the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development and offboarding. Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues. Supporting workforce planning and recruitment activity across operational and support functions. Reviewing and developing HR policies, procedures and people initiatives. Managing employee engagement activities and driving a positive workplace culture. Supporting management capability through coaching and guidance on people management best practice. Overseeing HR compliance, employment legislation and record keeping. Producing HR reports and insights to support business decision making. Working closely with senior stakeholders to support organisational objectives and future growth plans. The ideal candidate: Previous experience in a standalone HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role in an NI organisation. Strong generalist HR experience across the full employee lifecycle. Proven employee relations experience and confidence managing complex HR issues. Experience supporting operational, industrial, engineering or manufacturing workforces would be highly advantageous. CIPD qualification or equivalent experience. What's on offer: Competitive base up to £50k depending on experience. Flexible part-time arrangement (2 - 3 days per week).
