The Waldorf Astoria Admiralty Arch is seeking a Director of Sales to join the pre-opening team for this new luxury hotel opening early 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales leader to support the launch of one of Londons most anticipated hotels.
This hotel will be located in the historic Admiralty Arch, a Grade I listed building at the end of The Mall, opposite Buckingham Palace.
The project is a partnership between Hilton and Reuben Brothers, who acquired the property in 2022. The hotel will feature 112 rooms and suites, including a two-bedroom VIP suite with views of Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square, a rooftop terrace, and a ground-floor terrace overlooking St Jamess Park.
Facilities will include renowned dining venues, a Spa, and a ballroom for 320 guests. The development aims to blend the historical significance of Admiralty Arch with luxurious guest experiences.
The hotel will also include residential apartments and a private members club, making it a versatile destination for both visitors and locals. Its prime location and luxury offerings are set to establish it as a landmark in London.

Role Overview
The Director of Sales manages the hotels sales and marketing strategies, focusing on growth, market positioning, and representing the hotel to luxury B2B clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives
* Collaborate with senior management to identify growth opportunities
* Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team
* Represent the hotel at luxury trade shows and events
* Host client entertainment and engagement activities
* Manage sales and marketing budgets
* Prepare contracts and monitor offers and discounts for repeat bookings
* Oversee forecasting and reporting processes
* Contribute to the annual Sales and Market Plan and budgets
* Develop local sales initiatives and promote hotel services
* Coordinate with other departments to enhance guest experience
* Participate in management meetings and develop sales strategies
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have:
* London 5-star experience at senior sales management or director level
* Luxury hotel expertise and extensive connections with luxury travel agents and consortia (Virtuoso, Amex TLS, Internova)
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Proven sales closing ability and customer service commitment
* Flexibility and resilience under pressure
Preferred qualifications include a relevant degree in sales, business development, or related fields.
