This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious Sales Executive or experienced Sales Rep looking to step up into a fast-paced commercial events role. You’ll join a supportive, energetic team known for their creativity, strong values, and commitment to delivering exceptional events.
The Role
As Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for driving exhibitor sales and revenue across a portfolio of animal health events. You’ll focus on new business development, growing existing accounts, and building meaningful relationships with brands looking to engage with highly targeted audiences.
Working closely with the Event Manager and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering commercial success across the entire portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs across assigned events.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools to track activity and performance.
* Conduct regular outbound sales calls to prospective and existing clients.
* Ensure all contracts, payments, and internal documentation are accurate and compliant.
* Attend competitor and industry events to generate leads and stay commercially informed.
* Collaborate with Event Directors and marketing/sales teams to share leads and maximise cross-portfolio opportunities.
* Maintain high standards of customer service, communication, and professionalism.
* Demonstrate a revenue-first, proactive sales mindset in all activity.
* Take personal accountability for your portfolio and commercial impact.
About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven sales professional who thrives in a dynamic and commercially focused environment. You’ll bring:
* Experience in sales or business development, ideally within events or B2B sectors.
* Confidence selling over the phone and nurturing long-term client relationships.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* A self-motivated, target-driven approach with the desire to progress.
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
* A team-player mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
* An interest in the animal health, veterinary, or equine sectors is a bonus (but not essential).
