Site Manager - £34,000 Per Annum Play a pivotal role in leading a skilled Soft FM team at Newark General Hospital. Delivering high‑quality, responsive services that meet patient, client and business expectations while driving value, compliance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the day‑to‑day delivery of all soft services, ensuring high standards and a great customer experience Drive efficiency and continuous improvement to meet performance and budget targets Inspire, manage and develop teams, overseeing rotas, absence, performance reviews and training Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation Manage service quality, audits and KPIs, resolving issues and driving improvements Identify and manage operational risks, supporting business continuity and emergency planning Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support service excellence Produce clear, accurate reports and maintain compliance documentation using CAFM and MS Office Essential Experience & Skills Proven experience managing soft services within a facilities or hospitality environment Strong leadership and people management capability Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations Experience managing budgets and delivering operational efficiencies Confident user of MS Office and CAFM systems Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Personal Attributes Results‑driven, commercially aware and customer‑focused High integrity with the ability to hold others accountable Strong communicator who works collaboratively for the good of the business Desirable Experience managing senior third‑party relationships Retail or facilities management background IOSH (or equivalent) qualification Food Safety qualification
