SEND Teaching Assistant

Contract: Full-Time

We are currently seeking a caring and motivated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Gateshead. Whether your background is in Autism support, SEMH, PMLD, MLD, ADHD, or other complex needs, we would love to hear from you.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a nurturing and progressive educational setting, where you will play a vital role in supporting student's academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities
* Delivering tailored 1:1 support to pupils with a range of SEND needs.
* Assisting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Down's Syndrome, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
* Working closely with teaching staff to help adapt lessons to meet individual learning requirements.
* Promoting independence, confidence, and wellbeing for every child you support.
