Overall Purpose of Role: Support DX field sales colleagues in generating revenue from new business customers Support DX field sales colleagues in developing and implementing strategic tele-marketing plans Qualify inbound opportunities and pass onto field sales colleagues in line with policy Build/Manage & Maintain an ongoing pipeline of prospective customers / call lists Main Responsibilities: Make quality new prospect appointments for DX field sales colleagues across a range of spends and sectors Consistently achieve & exceed targets & KPIs Manage your own pipeline of prospects to ensure a constant flow of new business meetings Qualify and progress inbound sales enquiries and pass to your DX field sales colleagues Work with line manager to develop and deliver targeted telemarketing campaigns Develop short, medium and long term plans to achieve KPIs Develop relationships with senior level contacts (internal and external) Attend scheduled sales meetings (internal). Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Experience within either Parcels /Pallets /Logistics/Supply Chain industry (Preferable not essential) Strong sales skills (Cold Calling, Prospecting, Profile Qualification, Basic Tele-Sales Techniques) Understanding of sales process and demonstration of world-class consistency, hunger and determination Excellent time management skills Track record of premium quality appointment setting (Preferable not essential) Excellent presentation and communication skills Problem solving abilities / ability to facilitate discussions Able to work with the minimum of supervision Microsoft skills i.e. Excel, Word, Email, PowerPoint (Basic to Intermediate level) Measures: *Qualified meetings set for multiple DX divisions *Various KPIs.
