Freelance Site Manager – Hospital Scheme Location: Boston, England Project Type: Hospital Development Scheme Contract Type: Freelance Day Rate: Competitive Start Date: Ongoing About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a live hospital scheme in Boston, Lincolnshire. This role requires a proactive, safety-conscious individual with a strong background in healthcare or similarly complex construction environments. You will play a key role in managing on-site operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring health & safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality across the project. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring works progress in line with programme Manage subcontractors, site staff, and logistics effectively Maintain strict health & safety compliance across all activities Liaise with the client, consultants, and wider project team Conduct regular inspections and quality checks Report on progress, risks, and mitigation plans to the project team Requirements: ✅ Proven experience as a Site Manager on healthcare or large-scale commercial projects ✅ SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications ✅ Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practices ✅ Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills ✅ Able to work independently and make critical site decisions
