Site Manager – Residential (Flats) – Contract (14 Months)

💼 Contract Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver a new-build residential scheme comprising a block of flats in Cheltenham. This is a 14-month contract with a well-established contractor, offering the opportunity to take full site responsibility from early stages through to completion.
🔨 The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing all on-site operations for the construction of a multi-unit residential block
*
Coordinating subcontractors and trades
*
Driving programme and ensuring key milestones are met
*
Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance
*
Liaising with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, and senior management
*
Overseeing quality control and ensuring works meet specification
✅ Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering residential flat/apartment schemes
*
Must have previous permanent employment in a similar role (not solely freelance)
*
Strong track record of managing projects from start to finish
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid
*
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
*
Ability to drive programme and manage multiple trades effectively
