1. Provide strategic and operational leadership across all areas of HR including employee relations, recruitment and retention, reward, EDI, wellbeing, learning and development.
2. Lead the People/HR team in delivering operational excellence and trusted advisory support.
3. Drive continuous improvement ensuring high quality and efficient delivery of our people services and People Strategy.
4. Promote and embed a culture which values employee wellbeing and engagement.
5. Collaborate with the Executive team and stakeholders to align people initiatives with organisational objectives.
6. Work with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding responsibilities from an HR perspective.
About You
7. Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within education or a complex organisation.
8. Able to comfortably work at both a strategic level to drive change and at an operational level, ensuring effective and efficient day-to-day management of our People operational plan.
9. Detailed knowledge of using and developing HR information systems, including the ability to extract, manipulate, analyse and report data.
10. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
11. Hold a CIPD Level 7 qualification or have equivalent experience.
12. A passion for people and commitment to staff wellbeing, engagement and development.
13. The ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of an organization.
