Job Description
The SEO Site Manager, based at our Shirebrook office, is responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategy for their allocated site/brand, and for its overall performance. The successful candidate will lead their team to manage the website, increase organic traffic and revenue through improvements in information architecture, content management, and SEO techniques. They will be data-driven and performance-minded, ensuring projects are prioritized and optimized to meet KPIs.
Support will be provided by external partners (Botify, Pi-datametrics, Partoo, Croud).
Key Responsibilities:
* Own, drive, and optimize SEO performance.
* Develop and implement the site’s SEO roadmap and strategy in collaboration with the SEO Lead.
* Conduct keyword research and manage technical site issues to support the SEO strategy.
* Manage the SEO team, including probation reviews, 1:1s, ER, hiring, performance management, and engagement in Frasers Group’s annual performance cycles.
* Monitor and improve KPIs and revenue targets through reporting and analysis.
* Identify opportunities and insights across channels.
* Coordinate with the SEO Manager on delivering link-building campaigns.
* Stay updated on industry developments and contribute to best practices.
* Share initiatives, best practices, and results with the team.
Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role with team leadership skills.
* Strong technical SEO expertise.
* Knowledge of link-building techniques.
* Experience managing SEO for revenue-generating consumer websites.
* Proficiency in keyword research, daily optimization, testing, and analysis.
* Ability to create and present campaign reports, including ROI and conversion metrics.
* Understanding of web usability, site design, and traffic measurement.
* Research skills for keyword prioritization.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Self-management skills to handle multiple projects.
* Passion for SEO and online marketing.
* Experience with content marketing and social campaigns.
