Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
Location: Derby (with travel across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire)
Contract: Temporary (potential to be permanent)

Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible working; office-based approx. 2 days per week)
I am looking for an experienced Estates & Facilities Manager to oversee the management, maintenance andpliance of a multi-site educational estate.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage estates & facilities operations, including maintenance programmes and capital works
2. Ensure fullpliance with Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements
3. Oversee asset management planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
4. Manage contractors, projects and service delivery across multiple sites
5. Lead and develop a small team, promoting high standards and safe working practices
6. Deliver estates improvement projects ( building services, boiler replacements, refurbishment works)
7. Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement effective solutions
Essential Requirements
8. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and legalpliance
9. Proven experience leading and managing teams
10. Experience managing estates, facilities or property portfolios
11. Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (regular travel required)
12. Ability to manage budgets, contractors and multiple projects
13. Educated to A Level or above, including a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) grade C in maths and English
Desirable
14. Project management experience within building services or maintenance environments
15. Experience working across multi-site operations
16. Level 5 qualification in a relevant discipline or relevant experience at this level Nebosh, ISOH
