Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team that models Vestas values and high standards of performance.
* Provide effective leadership to achieve a highly aligned, engaged, and motivated installation team that meets Key Performance Indicators and Operational Objectives.
* Perform day-to-day site planning, leading, controlling, and coordinating WTG delivery and installation activities.
* Manage material coordination of WTG components, ensure availability of tools, and oversee subcontractors.
* Prioritize installation sequences and liaise with client contractors.
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure progress aligns with the project schedule.
* Maintain quality control procedures.
* Handle NCR notifications and implement corrective actions.
* Manage as-built documentation and record on-site manhours.
* Coordinate delivery schedules, shipping, and receipt of goods.
* Align PCP templates and ensure documentation is fit for purpose.
* Coordinate and direct site supervisors and commissioning teams.
* Review daily work progress to meet contractual performance conditions.
* Prepare progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Plan for problem prevention and resolve emerging challenges.
* Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree, degree, or trade qualification.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in installation construction or renewable operations.
* Advanced IT skills (e.g., MS Office, MS Project).
* Technical diploma or degree related to engineering or construction is advantageous but relevant experience is acceptable.
Competencies
* Leadership experience with site-based subcontractors and employees, emphasizing safety.
* Craneage/heavy lifting experience, including lift studies and planning.
* Strong understanding of project budgets and organizational impacts.
* Proven leadership in coaching, mentoring, and motivating teams.
* Continuous improvement and quality methodology skills.
* Valid driver's license or ability to obtain IDP, with willingness to travel.
