Overview

Join to apply for the Compliance & Quality Manager role at Equans UK & Ireland in Pinderfields Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.


Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and audit a compliance framework system that pulls together Regulatory and Statutory Compliance, Service Compliance, Commercial Compliance, and SHEQ Compliance.
* Responsible for the development and implementation of the Contract KPI Compliance System and Statutory/Mandatory Compliance Systems across Technical Services.
* Work with the Performance and Workflow Manager to prepare audit criteria, audit programmes, and a system of non-conformance reporting and management.
* Routinely consolidate performance reports for each department and distill into summary reports for management.
* Ensure monthly compliance reports are prepared for the Account Director, Head of Technical Operations and the wider Senior Leadership Team (SLT), verifying accuracy and validity.
* Prepare individual and consolidated reports for returns to Internal and external Audit Teams.
* Collaborate with Technical Services Managers to identify areas of improvement, collate improvement plans, and report to the SLT.
* Monitor and trend key compliance indicators, producing reports to support Senior Technical Managers and assist with closure of non-conformances.
* Maintain strong personal competence in compliance matters to ensure consistent standards are maintained.
* Design, produce, and deliver materials to enable operational leads to follow company standards and address queries related to all aspects of compliance; act as initial focal point for compliance questions.
* Prepare and present monthly/quarterly/annual performance reports to the Account Director and SLT in an agreed format, and design and own a compliance audit plan and tools for all areas, reporting on monthly performance against plan against Industry Standards and Guidance.


Qualifications and experience

* Team leadership, finance knowledge, and business & technical experience.
* Previous demonstrable management experience in the healthcare environment.
* Quality Control ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification.
* 5 years post-qualifying relevant experience in a similar role; excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude to work situations.
* Familiarity with the healthcare sector and day-to-day operation/maintenance of varying healthcare buildings/premises.
* Experience with Permit to Work procedures.
* Conversant with Healthcare guidance (HTM) a distinct advantage.

Who we are looking for

* ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification
* 5+ years post-qualifying experience; strong communication and flexible attitude
* Familiarity with healthcare sector and HTM guidance is advantageous
