Due to the secure nature of the systems, this position will require regular attendance to a site near Chippenham.
Due to the secure nature of the programme/role, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through National Security Vetting to obtain this clearance.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
This Data Architect position will be responsible for the concept assessment of architecture (including models, decisions, validation, evolution, and delivery support). This includes focusing on the representation, taxonomy, and exchange of information in an organisation. You will be joining a newly formed team which will form part of a wider programme dedicated to a new workstream. You will take lead in providing the necessary assessment and evidence to enable the development of a business case to take forward the assessment phase into delivery.
-Lead the creation and realisation of data architectures.
-Operate at both the tactical/strategic level.
-Act as a business partner in identifying information needs, translating these needs into taxonomies, corporate, and domain-specific data models.
-Create and maintain information/data architectures that support interaction in the design and development of IT systems that support business capabilities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
-Information modelling
-Requirements gathering
-Data modelling techniques
-Previous Cloud Migration experience
-Knowledge of Defence systems is advantageous.
