Head of People & Culture


Location: Bracknell, fully office based


Salary: up to £60, per annum, depending on experience

Our client is seeking a talented Head of People & Culture to spearhead their HR initiatives and help shape an exciting transformation journey. Key Responsibilities:



Culture & Values



1. Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

2. Embed organisational values into all people practices.

3. Advise the CEO and senior leadership on people-related risks, opportunities, and trends.

4. Lead organisational development, workforce planning, and succession planning.




Operational HR & Compliance



5. Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and health & safety regulations.

6. Lead employee relations, including performance management, absence, disciplinary actions, and grievances.

7. Maintain accurate HR policies and contracts, along with HR data, metrics, and reporting.




People Management



8. Develop leadership capabilities and enhance management effectiveness.

9. Coach and support managers in people-management skills.

10. Embed robust performance management frameworks.




Recruitment & Talent Management



11. Oversee recruitment efforts that promote a strong employer brand and inclusive practices.

12. Partner with leaders on workforce planning and succession strategies.

13. Lead initiatives for talent development and retention.




Reward, Wellbeing & Engagement



14. Manage pay, benefits, and annual review processes.

15. Deliver innovative employee wellbeing initiatives.

16. Measure and enhance employee engagement.




Personal Attributes & Experience:



17. Hands-on, pragmatic, and credible leadership approach, with a strong operational HR background.

18. Demonstrated ability to identify and address bias effectively.

19. Proven capability to influence organisational culture using evidence-based strategies.

20. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
