Electronic Hardware Test Development Engineer
Heanor, Derbyshire | £50,000 – £55,000 | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Join a leader in automotive control unit remanufacturing as we develop the next generation of bespoke electronic test systems. This is a hands-on hardware development role ideal for someone passionate about circuit design, prototyping, and testing in high-performance automotive environments.
Key Duties:
1. Designing and prototyping custom electronic hardware
2. Developing PCBs and integrating hardware into automated test systems
3. Supporting HIL setups and real-world ECU testing
4. Troubleshooting and validating complex hardware builds
Skills Required:
✔ Strong hardware design & PCB layout experience
✔ Knowledge of embedded/automotive systems
✔ Proficiency with tools like Altium, KiCAD, oscilloscopes, etc.
✔ Understanding of protocols: CAN, LIN, UART, SPI
