The Role at a Glance
Position: Leisure Watersports Venue / Site Manager

About the Role
As Leisure Team Manager, you will oversee the smooth operation of the Aqua Park, ensuring safety, motivation, and efficiency. Your responsibilities include daily operations, health & safety, team management, training, and seasonal wrap-up. Key duties include:
* Reporting to the Site Director on operational metrics
* Managing bookings, weather considerations, and staff rotas
* Liaising with manufacturers for repairs and replacements
* Handling accidents and incidents
* Training, coaching, and supporting team members
* Rewarding high performers and supporting low performers
* Managing park pack-down at season's end
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Strong management experience, preferably in leisure with high customer volumes
* Operational and commercial acumen
* Computer literacy, including Excel and bespoke booking systems
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to stay calm under pressure
* Full driving license
* Confident swimming ability
Desirable:
* Leisure or water sports background, lifeguarding experience, or willingness to train
* Valid First Aid at Work qualification
