Overview
Little Waltham and Great Notley surgeries are looking for a Human Resources Manager for their busy two‑site GP practice. The role is part‑time, 25 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
Responsibilities
* Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning, maintaining records including training, performance reviews, and sickness.
* Develop employee engagement across the practice and manage complex employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, absence issues, and redundancies.
* Provide guidance and support for HR personnel, ensuring HR compliance across the practice.
* Review and update practice protocols in line with current regulations.
Experience
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
* Proven ability to manage a team within a busy environment.
* Ability to manage, coach and guide team members and colleagues.
* Excellent communication, coaching and relationship‑building skills with a logical approach to conflict management.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications
* Preferably CIPD qualified level 5 (or equivalent), with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
