An informal family is seeking a Live-In Driving Housekeeper to join their family based in exclusive village in Dorset. This is a long-term, stable role with weekday hours only, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being part of a relaxed yet busy family home.
You will be responsible for all housekeeping, driving teenagers to school and light family cooking. Overseeing twins aged 12 years old in full-time education this role would suit a warm housekeeper who has previous experience working with similar aged children.
All housekeepers applying must be confident drivers.
Responsibilities:
1. housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, ironing, and general tidying
2. School pick-ups and light childcare
3. Preparing simple, healthy family meals
4. Grocery shopping, errands, and general household support
Requirements:
5. Minimum 3 years' experience in private housekeeping roles
6. Confident driver with a full UK driving licence
7. Fluent or strong spoken English
8. Organised, trustworthy, and kind – with a natural rapport with children
9. Comfortable in a quiet, rural environment
£40,000–£45,000+ per annum, depending on experience
Bed/Bath accommodation provided to start with but family moving into large property within 6 months with more space.
