JOB TYPE: Perm, Part-Time (24 hours per week - Flexible), Hybrid - (2:1 ratio), Some travel required.

JOB OVERVIEW
My client is seeking a dedicated HSEQ Manager to join our UK team. In this role, you will champion a proactive health, safety, environment and quality culture and act as a trusted advisor across the business. You will collaborate with management, project teams and technical operatives on varied UK and European projects, including fabrication/maintenance within our UK premises and field-based installation and commissioning work.
DUTIES:
* Lead and coordinate the company-wide HSEQ strategy.
* Driving a proactive HSEQ culture through positive engagement.
* Provide advice, support and guidance on all aspects of HSEQ planning and operations.
* Develop, implement and maintain company safety and quality systems, policies and procedures.
* Incident and near-miss investigation, root cause analysis, and supporting the delivery of corrective actions.
* Risk assessment, auditing, delivery of HSEQ training and participation in process safety studies/HAZID/HAZOP where relevant.
* HSEQ input into bids, tenders, project documentation and business performance reviews.
* (Preferred) Support environmental permitting, regulatory compliance and waste management activities.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven experience as a Health and Safety leader.
* Background in environmental, engineering, manufacturing or industrial sectors.
* Experience driving organisational change.
* Ability to travel occasionally within the UK and Europe
* Experience implementing or managing ISO9001 and ISO14001 systems (preferred).
* Experience conducting quality audits (preferred)
* Knowledge of Environmental Permitting Regulations (preferred)
* Educated to degree standard (or equivalent industry experience).
* H&S Diploma (preferred) or Certificate (essential).
* Member of a relevant professional body (IOSH or equivalent).
