A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COOK What you'll be doing Shift pattern 5pm-9pm Monday to Thursday 16 hours per week Preparing & cooking basic meals using microwaves, fryer and Merry Chef Serving meals Maintain a clean, organised kitchen Clearing tables & pot washing Ensuring food safety standards are met Participate in regular cleaning duties to ensure all equipment and surfaces are kept spotless. This is a multi-tasking role that requires the successful applicant to be responsible for the preparing, cooking and serving of meals as well as maintaining and clean kitchen WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Genuine interest in cooking Some previous kitchen experience is a MUST, but a willingness to work hard and learn is essential. Understanding of basic food prep techniques Strong attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness and food safety. Team-oriented mindset, able to take direction well and support colleagues as needed. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying focused and reliable during busy services.
