Job Title: Progress Developer
Job Details:

Salary: Up to £45,000 dependent on experience + 3% flexible benefits + on target bonus of 5% + contributory pension
Experience Requirements:
1. Analysis, design, development and Unit Testing of Progress Openedge 4GL/ABL code
2. Closely working with the Testing and Change Management teams
3. Producing high quality solutions within time and budget
4. Suggesting improvements to internal processes
5. Ensuring that development standards are adhered to throughout all projects
6. Undertake and manage various development projects and ensure that these are implemented to agreed timescales
Responsibilities and Skills:
1. Programming and Analysis in Progress / Openedge 4GL / ABL
2. Experience of Developing Enterprise level applications
3. Experience of working within a structured Software Development / Delivery team
4. Good interpersonal communication skills
Desirable:
1. Prior experience of developing collection system software
2. Openedge Appserver
3. Openedge Database Management
4. Javascript / HTML
5. .NET
6. Webspeed
7. Smart Objects
Additional Qualifications:
1. Experience of successfully delivering development projects in a commercial environment
2. Experience with source control management systems
3. The ability to work under pressure and deliver to changing business demands
