Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Site Manager to work within Murphy International MIL are a structural steel specialist within house Design, Procurement, Fabrication and installation capabilities operating in the UK and Ireland. Current projects in Energy sector, Rail, Data centres, Infrastructure whilst supporting the Murphy portfolio. Current works include Bridges, AFA schemes, Data centres, Structures across the energy sector. A day in the life of a Murphy Senior Site Manager: Plan and deliver all work, ensuring work is completed on time and to the agreed standard. Ensure short and medium contract programmes are planned, reviewed, and delivered. Monitor progress periodically against the project plan and monitor expenditure for labour plant & materials, resolving issues but may escalate critical operational issues to the Project Manager. Line management of Section Managers and other workflow supervisors/contractors. Provide periodic updates to clients on project/contract progress, typically operational in nature. Ensure risk assessments are created, in place and reviewed as and when required Review plant, labour, and materials to ensure resources are in place for the short to medium term (1-3 months). Establish and maintain close working relationships with the Murphy team and ensure appropriate level of client/subcontractor engagement to ensure safe timely completion of all site activities. Close coordination of all sites-based activities in line with customer specifications and procedures. Still interested, does this sound like you? Experience in delivering Structural / Steel projects. Roofing and Cladding experience is desirable HNC / HND or NVQ Level 6 (or Degree level qualification) Extensive background in site/contract management delivering complex multi-discipline projects, delivering within programme and cost controls Solid health and safety knowledge and will hold a health and safety related qualification Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to develop close working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
