The Job:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a cook to join them on a 3-month temporary contract. This role will be working as a cook.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Prepare and cook meals for residents following set menus
* Meet dietary needs, allergies, and special requirements
* Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and well organised
* Always follow food hygiene and health & safety standards
* Order, store, and check food supplies
* Work with care staff to ensure residents enjoy their meals
* Take feedback and make improvements where possible
* Complete basic kitchen records and checks
* Support special meals, events, and celebrations
The Person:
For this role, our client is looking for someone who has previous cooking experience within the residential sector ideally.
1. A good eye for detail and accuracy.
2. Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset.
