Just Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a successful and growing company in Witham to recruit a Site Manager. This role oversees health and safety, quality assurance, progress reporting and handover. The Site Manager works closely with internal stakeholders-including production, finance and transport to support projects ensuring programme and contractual needs are met.Duties include: Ensure effective and efficient use of departmental resources to meet contractual obligations, budget requirements and strategic objectivesResponsible for the management of Health & Safety on project sites and ensuring the company always meets its statutory obligationsOrganise & monitor site labour levelsMonitoring & reporting progress of works and ensuring agreed programmes are achievedPrepare RAMS and submit to contractorsProvide regular toolbox talksUndertake QA checks as works proceed to ensure standards are achievedInspect finished works and present to contractors for handoverParticipate in pre-contract and site progress meetingsAttend internal project handover meetingsKey Competencies: Minimum 5 years' experience of managing subcontract installations for tier one subcontractors, ideally in the fenestration industryExcellent working knowledge of construction industryCSCS Card HolderAble to interpret construction, architect and working drawingsSSSTS or SMSTS qualified preferred (training can be provided)Working knowledge of CDM RegulationsAble to build relationships with co-workers, customers and suppliersCompetent user of Microsoft OfficeCommercially awareAble to prioritise workload and work independentlyGood interpersonal and organisational skillsFull driving license
