We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Proactive Sales Executive to support the growth of our trade customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, identifying opportunities through data insights, and implementing contact strategies to strengthen relationships and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for smaller turnover customers, focusing on maximizing pattern book placements in the marketplace to engage trade customers who may not have regular visits from our sales team.
* Contact customers to review performance, understand current projects, and promote sampling, collections, and sales.
* Understand customer needs to maximize sales opportunities.
* Secure future business through excellent service and support.
* Develop and execute customer contact strategies using all contact tools.
* Provide world-class customer service to maximize sales.
* Record customer feedback and actions into CRM.
* Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure order and sample request accuracy.
* Follow up on calls and emails.
* Analyze performance data to inform calls and strategies.
* Submit regular reports and monitor sales performance with management.
* Complete all administrative tasks related to the role.
* Achieve personal sales targets as part of the team.
* Employ effective sales techniques to promote, upsell, and cross-sell products, building strong business relationships.

Measures of Success:

* Achieving sales budgets and year-on-year growth.
* Staying within expenditure budgets.
* Meeting call and email activity targets.
* Success in sales according to planned budgets.

Connecting with Others:

* Work with sales colleagues, customers, customer service, finance, and senior management to ensure performance and growth.

Skills & Experience:

* Proven sales experience, especially in call centers or mail order catalogues.
* Strong business sense and industry knowledge.
* Product knowledge and experience in building long-term relationships.
* Self-driven, results-oriented, positive attitude.
* CRM experience, including WG360.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
