You'll execute data analytics projects that are varied in nature and demand a wide spectrum of skills from data manipulation through to data visualisation. You'll need to love working with data and to be detail orientated and methodical. Whilst existing knowledge of numerous analytical tools is not a prerequisite, self-motivation to learn and an ambition to become an expert in applying such technologies is essential. You'll be required to work closely with various Business functions as well as other teams in Danske Bank. You'll focus on working with our internal customers - supporting them in creating insights, analytics, and a self-service culture. You'll need to have a background working with data and be a strong independent problem solver capable of working through complex undocumented data structures. To provide subject matter expertise and knowledge of the data sets held within our bank. You'll work closely with our data governance team to support documentation of our data, and information: supporting understanding of data within the business and analytics teams. What else you will do: Gather and visualise user requirements by supporting their journey to self-service and data driven decisions Contribute to the creation of new technical solutions to innovate, increase efficiencies and make the Bank's data actionable Work in partnership with the wider Danske Bank business functions to ensure a purposeful single source of the truth that is available to all Building scalable solutions Support data engineers to maintain data pipelines Automating manual processes Take a lead in complex business challenges and mentor other team members Perform ad-hoc analysis for internal or external users as required. To ensure customers are provided with advice and service compliant with all existing legal, regulatory and voluntary code obligations, and all Bank standards, policies, processes and procedures Ensure all BI activities are aligned to the Bank's core values and consistent with the fair treatment of all customers. Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: Significant experience as an analytics developer - a proven track record at gathering and implementing user requirements through dashboard and analytical tools A strong understanding of at least 1 BI analytical applications Qlikview/QlikSense Tableau, etc. Proven ability to work closely with all levels of business to gather accurate business and technical requirements, then translate into new BI solutions Good planning and organising skills with ability to work to tight deadlines. Strong service delivery ethic with a focus on quality, competency, and accuracy. Strong communicator who can translate and adapt message for different stakeholder groups including technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Criteria 3rd Level degree in IT or related STEM discipline Experience in design, development and deployment of data warehouses or relational/analytical/multi-dimensional data marts Experience with Alteryx/ IBM DataStage/Python/SSRS and Hadoop and Spark How we work Our belief is that we are " Better when Together " and want to balance the benefits of teaming up in person with flexible working where possible.
