Equans is looking for a Site Manager to join our team in Prescot school, Knowsley park Lane, l34 3NB on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Shift patterns will vary based on a 40-hour rotational system, between - Monday to Friday
What will you deliver?
1. Undertaking general caretaking duties, which include but are not limited to porter services (i.e. deliveries, exam set-ups); general maintenance (changing lamps, replacement ceiling tiles); carrying out of Planned Maintenance activities (Legionnaires checks, door condition checks, light switch checks etc) working in all weathers.
2. Ensure SLAs and KPis within the contract are delivered and met.
3. Carry out opening / closing of the building.
4. Regular support to the school to enable its ability to deliver the teaching curriculum. As well as communication with school representatives.
5. Undertaking and recording statutory and mandatory planned maintenance duties.
6. Logging of reactive maintenance tasks on the Helpdesk, utilising CAFM system to provide updates on work orders.
7. Proactively carrying out a daily regime of find it fix it or report it to the helpdesk and ensure it is followed up and fixed within our service level agreement.
8. As part of the compliance to statutory duties the individual will undertake and record the testing of such systems as emergency lighting and fire alarm tests.
9. You will be required to use a computer, mobile phone and technical equipment so previous experience will be a distinct advantage.
10. Carry out sub-contractor inductions and maintain register of inductions, DBS and RAMS
11. Provide supervision/management of subcontractors whilst working on site
12. Participate in emergency call outs
13. Carry out any other duties that may be applicable to the position of a Caretaker.

Who are we looking for?
25. This role reports directly to the Regional Site Supervisor, general caretaking experience is advantageous, but not essential.
26. Must have the ability to travel and possess a clean driving licence.
27. Able to promote good customer relationships
28. Have a proven track record of practical maintenance skills
29. Have good knowledge of Health and Safety
30. Can follow site and company policies and procedures
31. Cover lettings to meet business requirements
32. Good communication skills
33. Will be required to work at height, perform manual handling tasks and on occasion work alone.
