Job Title: PA/Secretary to Directors – Admin & Clerical
Start date: 13 Oct 2025 | PAY: £20.02 per hour
Location: 4–10 Linenhall Street, Belfast, BT2 8BP, United Kingdom
Main Purpose of Job
As PA/Secretary to Directors, you will provide the full range of PA and secretarial support to the Directors and Departmental Management Team (DMT). Duties include:
* Managing diaries, meetings, and appointments
* Handling confidential correspondence and emails
* Preparing reports, minutes, and committee papers
* Filtering and making calls on behalf of directors
* Maintaining manual and electronic filing systems
* Supervising and motivating administrative staff
* Liaising with elected representatives, external bodies, and senior managers
* Organising travel and accommodation
* Taking shorthand/audio notes at meetings and preparing minutes
* Acting as first point of contact for visitors and enquiries
Essential Criteria
Applicants must have:
* Five GCSEs (A–C including English) or equivalent qualifications / computer-based assessment pass
* At least 2 years’ relevant experience in each of the following:
o Diary management & liaising with senior managers or elected members
o Secretarial/admin duties to deadlines (filing, correspondence, queries)
o Supervising admin staff
