Job Role: Catering Manager
Location: Gravesend, Kent
Salary: £31,968 per annum (KSF) - higher pay grade may be considered for suitably experienced candidates
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00, Friday 08:00 - 15:30
Working Pattern: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term-time plus 3 additional weeks in school holidays)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and innovative professional to lead the school's catering service and create a highly valued, exciting, and nutritious food provision for students and staff.

Your key responsibilities
* Lead and manage the school's catering team to deliver a professional, efficient service
* Oversee all food outlets during break, lunch, and social times
* Support catering for school events and external lettings
* Ensure compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety standards at all times
* Drive innovation and create appealing, nutritious menus that meet the needs of students and staff
What we're looking for
* Previous experience running a large-scale catering operation and/or a relevant catering qualification
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* High personal standards of hygiene and presentation
* Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, allergens, and health & safety regulations
* A proactive, innovative, and reliable approach to managing a busy school catering service
