Site Manager / Senior Site Manager

As a Site Manager you will manage, control and support the engineering, construction and completion of projects on time and on budget for a project based in Leeds, reporting to the Project Manager and becoming an integral member of the construction team.
Responsibilities
* Managing a complex construction process, including mechanical & electrical installations.
* Ensuring appropriate quality records are produced and monitored to verify compliance with specification requirements.
* Ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Management Plan, BAM Operating Procedures and Construction Phase Management Plan.
* Working to programme and associated deadlines.
* Setting up and monitoring handover schedules, keys, spares and completion documentation.
* Implementing BAM construction environmental procedures on site.
* Keeping site diaries including subcontractor attendance and progress records.
* Managing direct and subcontractor packages and maintaining associated records.
* Providing input on buildability issues as required.

Requirements
* Experience delivering high‑quality construction projects.
* Experience working on various types of construction projects.
* Broad construction‑based technical experience.
* Relevant Health & Safety qualification, preferably SMSTS.
* Comfortable with IT packages and systems.
* Self‑motivation and ability to work autonomously.
* Good communication skills.
* HNC/Degree, MCIOB or equivalent, or a trade background.
* Full driving licence.
