Sites Manager – Bus Operations
Location: Northfleet, Southend & Colchester (multi-site role)We’re looking for an experienced Sites Manager to lead bus operations across Northfleet, Southend, and Colchester. This is a senior operational leadership role with responsibility for safety, service delivery, people, and financial performance across multiple depots.You’ll provide strong, visible leadership, ensuring safe, reliable, and customer-focused bus services while driving continuous improvement and operational performance.What You’ll Be Doing
1. Lead day-to-day operations across multiple depots
2. Take full accountability for Health & Safety and operational compliance
3. Lead and develop large operational teams and work constructively with Trade Unions
4. Manage service delivery, performance, and customer experience
5. Own site-level financial performance, budgets, and cost control
6. Build strong relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders
7. Lead change and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
8. Proven experience managing a complex operational or multi-site environment
9. Strong leadership background with experience managing large teams
10. Experience with P&L responsibility and budget control
11. Confident working with Trade Unions and managing serious incidents
12. Customer-focused mindset with experience handling complaints and disputes
13. Strong communicator, resilient, and effective under pressure
