Technical Sales Executive
Location: Clevedon (office-based with UK travel)
Salary: £27,000 base + performance-based bonus
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Our client, a leading innovator in protective packaging solutions for dangerous goods, is looking for a motivated Technical Sales Executive to join their growing team. This industry is fast-moving, highly innovative, and supports a wide range of customers — including UK military bases and specialist industrial organisations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to build a career in sales within a niche and genuinely exciting technical sector. No previous experience is required — full training will be provided.
The Role:
This is a varied position combining both office and field-based work. You’ll spend time generating leads, engaging with potential customers, and visiting client sites across the UK to understand their needs and present solutions.
You’ll receive full product and industry training, as well as ongoing support to help you develop into a confident, capable technical sales professional.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and qualify leads through proactive communication
* Visit clients (including military sites) to build relationships and understand requirements
* Learn about technical packaging solutions and how to match products to customer needs
* Prepare quotes, proposals, and support the full sales process
* Maintain accurate CRM records
* Represent the company professionally during site visits and meetings
What We’re Looking For:
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential
* No prior sales or technical experience required
* Confident communicator with a positive, proactive attitude
* Someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable with both office work and UK travel
* Willingness to learn and develop within a specialist industry
