VANRATH is excited to partner with a leading organisation in the engineering sector to appoint a Quality Manager with Health & Safety Duties. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company renowned for its culture, innovation, and commitment to excellence.
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Role Summary
This is a key leadership position responsible for setting and maintaining high standards in quality assurance, safety protocols, and environmental practices across the organisation. The successful individual will take ownership of strategic development and execution of compliance frameworks, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Core Duties
1. Quality Assurance: Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and product/process quality across departments. Collaborate with senior leadership to shape company-wide quality strategy. Oversee the design, integration, and ongoing improvement of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems. Apply Six Sigma methodology and statistical tools (SPC) to drive measurable improvements in quality performance.
2. Health & Safety: Manage workplace safety policies, ensuring compliance with legal and internal standards. Coordinate fire safety measures, including training, emergency planning, and equipment audits. Perform regular risk evaluations and implement corrective actions. Monitor workplace noise levels and maintain detailed reports in line with regulations. Liaise with external regulatory bodies on all H&S-related matters.
3. Operational Excellence: Encourage optimal use of resources such as materials, staffing, and utilities. Ensure cross-departmental alignment by engaging with managers to implement new policies and maintain compliance standards in quality and safety.
Your Background
Proven experience in a leadership role within manufacturing or engineering. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Confidence in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and team collaboration.
