HR Manager

Pembrook Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HR Manager to join their head office team in Reading.
The Role:
The successful applicant will lead and manage HR strategy across the group, working closely with the Managing Director while also delivering practical, hands-on support. You will oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring policies and practices are compliant and aligned with business goals. This is an exciting opportunity to shape workplace culture and support business growth across the group's dealerships.
The Person:
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable HR professional who combines strategic thinking with the ability to roll up their sleeves and deliver. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the confidence to partner with senior management and the empathy to support employees at all levels.
Key Requirements:
* Proven HR management or senior HR advisor experience
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
* Excellent organisational, leadership, and prioritisation skills
* Empathetic communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
* CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) highly desirable
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across group sites when required
