The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a £13 million roads and sewers upgrade project. You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage site operations for a large-scale highways and sewer infrastructure project.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce on a day-to-day basis.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and programme to ensure delivery on schedule.
Liaise with project stakeholders and provide regular updates on site performance.
Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimise delays and cost impacts.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on highways, civil engineering, or utility infrastructure projects.
Experience managing projects of similar scale (£10M+ preferred).
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, H&S requirements, and quality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to make decisions under pressure and proactively manage risk.
