About the RoleAs Site Manager for this client, you will be working as part of a team & reporting to a site-based project manager. You will take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and wider team to coordinate subcontractors, manage logistics, and maintainpliance with health and safety regulations throughout the build.This is a hands-on leadership role where attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential. You’ll be working on a technically challenging refurbishment scheme, requiring excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all site activities and manage subcontractor performance.
2. Ensure strictpliance with health & safety standards andpany procedures
3. Monitor progress against programme and budget, reporting regularly to senior management
4. Maintain strongmunication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
5. Drive quality standards and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
6. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain accurate site records
7. Support team development and foster a positive, collaborative site culture
What We’re Looking For
8. Proven experience as a Site Manager onmercial refurbishment or new-build projects (£3M+)
9. Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety regulations
10. Excellent leadership andmunication skills
11. Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme targets
12. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential.
