Job Description
A leading UK organisation is seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join its Digital & Data team. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and delivering low-code automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, while also incorporating emerging AI tools to enhance business processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving operational efficiency by building apps, automations, and dashboards that directly support users across the business.
The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an automation-first culture, with the added scope to experiment with AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and Azure OpenAI. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Translate business needs into scalable low-code solutions that streamline workflows and improve user experience.
Integrate AI functionality, including Copilot, AI Builder, or GPT-based tools, into existing processes where beneficial. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions with measurable impact. Build connectors and manage integrations with APIs, external data sources, and internal systems.
Support the creation of documentation, governance processes, and knowledge-sharing across low-code assets. Assist with light RPA and scripting using tools such as Power Automate Desktop, PowerShell, or Python. Skills & Experience Required: Solid commercial experience developing solutions using Power Platform - particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
Strong understanding of business process automation and workflow design. Familiarity or practical experience with AI features (e.g., Copilot, GPT APIs, AI Builder). Ability to work with APIs and configure connectors for data integrations.
Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Desirable: Experience with Power BI, including dashboard creation and DAX. Exposure to RPA tools (Power Automate Desktop, UiPath) or scripting languages.
Understanding of Microsoft Azure services (e.g. Synapse, Logic Apps, Data Factory). Interest in chatbot development, prompt engineering, or intelligent workflow design.
