We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our HR&D team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid HR experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring the smooth running of HR operations, and supporting the implementation of HR initiatives
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
* Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with colleagues, and other departments demonstrating professional credibility
* Ensure the implementation of policy, legislation, and best practice
* Keeping up to date information regarding developments in human resources practices, employment legislation, and sharing of knowledge within team
* Recruitment: scheduling interviews, issuing contracts, Induction
* Absence Management: Manage absence process by providing support and advice to managers and employees, OH Referrals, reporting on absence
* Organise employee relations meetings
* Maintain and update employee records and all relevant HR database(s) in line with GDPR.

Requirements
Essential
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role (minimum 2-3 years' working in a HR advisory capacity).
* Project and case management expertise
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice in NI /UK.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, PAMS or similar HRIS systems
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good decision-making skills and the ability to influence others
Desirable
* Degree in Human Resource Management from an accredited institution
* CIPD Membership
* Ability to use PAMS or similar HRIS platform
