As the Senior Employment Lawyer, you will handle a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, work closely with colleagues to generate cross-referrals, and build strong relationships with clients and introducers. If you're a confident Senior Employment Lawyer with tribunal experience and a genuine interest in business development, this role offers the platform to make your mark.
This is what you will be doing
As a Senior Employment Lawyer, your day-to-day duties, will be:-
Managing a varied caseload across contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising both employers and employees
Drafting tribunal documentation and running Employment Tribunal claims end-to-end
Producing and reviewing employment contracts, policies, handbooks and wider employment documentation
Supporting the wider firm through cross-referrals, including providing corporate support to Corporate and Commercial colleagues
Building the Employment profile through business development, networking and introducer relationships
The experience you will bring to the team
You will bring the following experience to the Employment team:-
Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 7+ years' PQE in Employment law
Strong tribunal experience, including drafting pleadings and managing claims
Solid technical coverage across areas such as TUPE, redundancies, settlement agreements, post-termination restrictions and employee relations issues
Evidence of business development and networking, with the confidence to drive growth in the Employment offering
Ideally, some experience supervising or mentoring junior team members (
