Candidate required: Site Manager Job Type: Permanent or Freelance Start date: ASAP Industry: Construction Professionals South Location: Milford, Surrey The role & about the client: ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 residential contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join a prestigious residential development in Milford, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading housebuilders and manage a high-profile project from the ground up. As Site Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing all day-to-day operations on-site. You’ll ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a key leadership role, working closely with subcontractors, engineers, and project stakeholders. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Managing the construction phase of a large-scale residential project * Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to NHBC quality standards * Supervising and coordinating all site personnel and subcontractors * Enforcing strict health, safety, and environmental compliance * Monitoring daily site progress and reporting to the Project Manager * Resolving on-site issues and keeping the build on track * Liaising with stakeholders and maintaining excellent working relationships * Promoting a positive and productive site culture The ideal candidate will have/be: * Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale Tier 1 residential projects * SMSTS, First Aid, and valid CSCS (Black or Gold Card preferred) * Strong leadership and communication skills * Good knowledge of UK building regulations and NHBC requirements * Ability to effectively manage time, people, and materials * A proactive, solution-driven mindset How to apply: Please send an up-to-date CV in strict confidence.
