Employment Lawyer 3 Months Remote Working Our client, a Local Authority based in the Home Counties, is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join their legal services team on a locum basis, pending permanent recruitment. Candidates seeking full or part-time hours will be considered. Responsibilities of the Employment Lawyer: The successful Employment Lawyer will be expected to carry out a range of key responsibilities, which will include; Providing advice on employment law matters to the Council, Fire and Rescue Service and schools Working with HR in order to provide practical support and advice on a wide range of matters including disciplinary action, grievances, discrimination, whistleblowing, recruitment matters, restructures, TUPE and exit strategies Managing Employment Tribunal cases on behalf of the organisation Experience required for the Employment Lawyer: Our client is seeking a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with previous experience in employment law. Previous experience gained within Local Government would be advantageous, but is not essential.
