Overview
Senior .NET Developer opportunity within cross-functional teams. Each team owns a series of platforms from development and infrastructure through to ongoing support. You will deliver features, enhancements, and technical updates within the team, maintain pipelines and infrastructure using IaC best practices, and work in an agile environment supporting and mentoring teammates while collaborating with Product Owners, developers, and external stakeholders to achieve goals. Responsibilities
* Build .NET Core applications
* Migrate legacy applications to .NET Core (Ruby and/or VB experience would be an advantage but not required)
* Work towards a service-driven architecture
* Work with programs such as .NET Core/APIs/MySQL
* Build and deploy to Azure
* Maintain secure and resilient Azure infrastructure
* Deliver clean, maintainable and secure code
* Pursue the highest standards of code quality within the team
* Support the team in individual progression and in achieving team goals
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders
* Work with UI developers to deliver a complete solution
* Drive ongoing technical advancements from inception to production
* Deliver in a CI/CD environment
* Design and interact with RESTful APIs and data stores
Qualifications
* Proven experience building web-based .NET solutions
* Experience with Git, GitHub/Azure DevOps
* Familiarity with agile environments
* Experience/knowledge of developing for the cloud
* Experience with CI and automation tools
* Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills
* Strong communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Comfortable working independently
* Preferred knowledge of Azure PaaS services
* Preferred ecommerce development experience
* Experience with modern frontend technologies (React/Vue) desirable but not essential
* Experience in TDD desirable but not essential
