Vetoquinol UK is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Manager to lead our local Quality function and act as the named WQP on our Wholesale Distribution Authorisation. This role is central to ensuring the integrity of our supply chain and maintaining full compliance with GDP and veterinary medicines regulations.

The Role:
Lead WQP Responsibilities
* Ensure full compliance with Veterinary Medicines Regulations and GDP standards across the UK distribution network.
* Oversee supplier and customer qualification and ensure products are stored, transported, and handled in line with regulatory expectations.
* Manage deviations, complaints, suspected counterfeits, and product recalls.
Own and Develop the Quality Management System
* Lead internal audits and prepare the organisation for external inspections by VMD, DAFM, HPRA and Home Office.
* Ensure SOPs, policies and controlled documents are accurate and maintained.
Drive Training & Compliance
* Deliver GDP training and ensure ongoing competence of all distribution related teams.
* Embed a strong culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement across the UK site.
Manage Change Control & Product Lifecycle
* Lead risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigations for distribution activities.
* Oversee change controls with full traceability of decisions.
* Manage the end to end Product Lifecycle process, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and completion of key tasks.
Lead the Complaints Process
* Manage customer complaints, returns, and the recall process.
* Liaise with internal teams, Group Quality, regulators, and supply chain partners to resolve issues promptly.
* Conduct thorough root cause analysis and define corrective and preventative actions.
