The Position – Learning Mentor
As a Learning Mentor, you will be working within a Year 6 class, providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils who require additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement with learning. The role involves delivering targeted interventions, including sports-based activities, to support pupils’ social skills, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and pastoral team to implement tailored strategies that support both academic progress and positive behaviour. The school values a proactive and nurturing approach, using physical activity and structured interventions to help pupils self-regulate and develop resilience. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP.
